Fr. Jack and Anna Marie Sheffield have been in the healing ministry for almost 30 years, and continue to witness many healings and miracles of God's grace and power in a variety of forms and manifestations.

Ordained 1979
was ordained a deacon in the United Methodist Church in1979 and graduated from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in 1981. In 1993, he received nine months of "Anglicanization" at the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest, in Austin, Texas.

Doctorate in Ministry 2001
He earned his Doctorate in Ministry from the Seabury Institute in Chicago, Illinois in June of 2001. He and Anna Marie served as a couple in the pastorate for a total of 18 years, in both the Methodist Church and the Episcopal Church. Jack has been a Chaplain in the International Order of St. Luke the Physician since 1993 and is now the Director (formerly called Warden) of Region V, which encompasses six states. Jack has authored a wonderful book on the Power of God to Heal, God’s Healing River, and his second book Under Healing Wings is at the editor.

Anna Marie

Anna Marie is a wife, mother, grandmother, a retired Dental Hygienist and administrator for Deep River Ministries. She helps Jack with the teaching at the healing centers and at the various conferences. Anna Marie graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, with a degree in Biology. She has come on board full time with Deep River Ministries and loves to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Anna Marie has been given a wonderful anointing to minister, especially to women. She is a member of the International Order of St. Luke the Physician and Daughters of the King, a prayer ministry within the Episcopal Church. She has been a Stephen Minister and a member of the Community of Hope.

Evangelical Ministry 2001
In 2001, Jack and Anna Marie felt the call from God to begin an evangelistic ministry with the purpose of spreading the Good News that Jesus is still in the business of healing His people: body, soul and spirit. They minister in all denominations and non-denominational churches.

In 2004, seeing the need for a place that would provide more in depth prayer ministry, Jack and Anna Marie have been helping to establish two healing centers. One is in their hometown of San Antonio, Texas, and is called Christ’s Healing Center. The other is known as Bethsaida House and is located in Columbus, Georgia. Wonderful volunteer staff have prayed for hundreds and seen awesome miracles and precious inner healings.

Jack and Anna Marie have been married for 30 years and have one son who is married to a lovely woman. Jack and Anna Marie have two exceptional, bright, funny, fabulous grandchildren!
