What It Takes to Engage Deep River Ministries

1. Identify a Need.
Deep River Ministries has been used in churches and organizations which have identified a need for bible-based and Christ-centered teaching in a variety of areas.
Some questions you may want to ask:

Are our people growing in their relationship with God?
Do our people know how to minister to each other and the world?
What do we need to do to be more effective in training our people into more effective ministries of prayer, healing, discipling, worship, and unity?
What do we need for more effective leadership and ministry?

2. Contact Deep River Ministries.
Once you contact us, we may set up a conference call with key leaders and Fr. Jack. Deep River Ministries wants to tailor its offerings to your precise situations and needs, so this conversation begins to zero in on where the group is at the moment.
Contact Deep River Ministries now.

3. Create a Theme.
These can prompt a group's thinking. The task is to choose a theme that will bless the people. (Go to our suggested themes.)This includes targeting needs in individual talks titles. Fr. Jack and Anna Marie sharpen the focus.

4. Plan the Event.
If finances are short, you might consider inviting several other churches (not necessarily Episcopal) to jointly sponsor the event.

Logistics of the Event.
Will you serve breakfast, lunch, snacks? or will the people go out and come back? Do you have a registrar set up, or are you depending upon only the freewill offering? Who is going to provide music? Will you have a Eucharist or Communion Service with the event?

5. Schedule the Event.
Will a weekend best meet the need? Several weekdays?
Two events for different people groups or different ages?

When you're ready to schedule the event, contact Fr. Jack by email at frjack@deepriverministries.com

6. Produce the Event.

7. Evaluate the Event.
What did the Lord do?
How can we best take advantage of the benefits?
